My Review:
One of the best things we did when we turned 50’ish. We knew we would need an accessible bathroom area that included a walking shower, grab bars in the shower, and a toilet. - We happened to hit the downturn in 2007/2008. We sold our home for a profit just before things started to slide. This allowed us to pay cash for our Palm Springs, CA., and we had money to spare for home upgrades: new HVAC, plumbing, roof, electrical, pool renovation, and solar panels.
Even 17 years later, we still have a few items on our bucket list to change. The front yard landscape must be more desert to reduce maintenance and water usage. Ten years after the first installation, we replaced the first set of solar panels with newer, higher-output panels. We just had all the windows and doors replaced with dual-panel low-e glass. The only thing that must be done is to paint the home. Our driveway needs to be redone.
